Çalışmada hegemonik erkek ve hegemonik erkekliğin eril şiddeti kavramları çerçevesinde kadınların şiddet karşısındaki konumu araştırılmıştır. Kadınların konumuna ilişkin incelemeler ışığında hayatta kalmak için yaşamını savunan kadınlarla karşılaşılmıştır. Çalışmada bu sebeple kadınları bu sonuca iten sürecin anlaşılması çabası mevcuttur. Bu amaçla hegemonik erkeklik ve eril şiddet kavramları ataerkil ilişkiler bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Kavramsal çerçevenin inşası sonrasında uzun süre hegemonik erkeğin şiddetine maruz kalan ve bu şiddet sarmalının sonucunda evli oldukları erkeği öldürme yoluyla hayatta kalan/yaşamını savunan iki kadın ve kadınların dava süreçleri ile ilgilenen iki avukat ile derinlemesine yüz yüze görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Kadınların ve avukatların aktardıkları bilgiler ile eril şiddeti önlemeye yönelik caydırıcı politikaların uygulanmadığı anlaşılmaktadır. Derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılan kadınların diğer şiddet biçimleriyle iç içe bir şekilde fiziksel şiddete ağır olarak maruz kaldıkları ve yaşamlarını savunmak zorunda kalarak evli oldukları erkekleri öldürdükleri anlaşılmaktadır. Bu noktada çalışmanın hukuk alanında da tartışmalara ve gelişmelere katkı sağlaması açısından önemli bir noktayı işaret ettiği söylenebilir
The study examined the position of women against violence in the framework of the concepts of hegemonic men and hegemonic men. Studies on the position of women have been met with women who defend their lives to survive in light. In this study, there is an effort to understand the process that pushes women to this conclusion. For this purpose, the concepts of hegemonic masculinity and eril violence have been addressed in the context of paternal relationships. After the construction of the conceptual framework, two lawyers who have been exposed to the violence of the hegemonic man for a long time and who have defended their lives through the murder of the man they were married as a result of this violence have been in profound face-to-face conversations with the two lawyers who are interested in the process of trial by killing the man they were married. It is clear that the information that women and lawyers transmit and the anti-violence policies are not implemented. It is understood that women in deep conversations have been seriously exposed to physical violence and have been forced to defend their lives, killing the men they have married. At this point, it can be said that the study indicates an important point in the field of law as well as contributing to discussions and developments.
This study was shaped within the framework of in-depth face-to-face interviews with two women who defended their lives to defend their working lives and two lawyers dealing with the cases of the women in question. Both women were subjected to long-term systematic violence by men they were married to, and as a result of this spiral of violence, they had to defend their lives in the process of divorce/by killing the divorced man. For this reason, there is an effort to understand the processes that pushes women to this conclusion. It is understood that the women who were interviewed in depth were subjected to physical violence intensely, intertwined with other forms of violence and killed the men they were married in order to defend their lives. In the study, the concepts of patriarchy, masculinity and masculine violence will be discussed based on the experiences of women. With the information provided by women and lawyers, it is understood that deterrent policies to prevent male violence are not implemented. At this point, it can be said that the study indicates an important point in terms of contributing to discussions and developments in the field of law.
