Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the relationship of psychological vulnerability, self-simpatiation and gender in university students with psychological well-being. The participants of the study are studying in the various faculties associated with the Nine May University and selected by the appropriate sample method of 430 (Ort. 022 and Ss. = 2.20) the university student was formed. Participants responded to a survey consisting of Self-Compliance Scale, Psychological Vulnerability Scale, Psychological Wellbeing Scale and Personal Information Form as a data collection tool. In the process of data analysis, visual statistics were used, Pearson moment interruption correlation ratio analysis, multi-linear regression analysis and relative importance analysis. The study found that college students with high levels of self-sufficiency and low levels of psychological vulnerability have high levels of psychological well-being. The results of the relative importance analysis also showed that self-simplification is the most important contributor to psychological well-being in university students. Protecting and preventive psycho-education programs aimed at improving psychological well-being for university students can include activities aimed at reducing levels of psychological vulnerability and increasing levels of self-sufficiency.
