Büyük kemik defektleri kendiliğinden iyileşmesi mümkün olmayıp greftlenmesi gerekir. Bu çalışmada tarafımızdan üretilen hidroksiapatit (HAp) esaslı biyoseramik malzemelerin in vitro ve in vivo biyouyumlulukların belirlenmesi amaçlandı.
Large bone defects cannot be healed by themselves and must be transplanted. This study aimed at determining the in vitro and in vivo biological responsibilities of our hydroxyapathite (HAp)-based bioseramic materials. In vivo tests, 42 Spraque Dawley wheels were divided into 3 groups, with 7 animals in each group. Under the general anesthesia of rats in the medial area of the proximal tibe was created two 2 mm drill bone defects. The created defects were filled with the control group for the events in the 1st group and the events in the 2nd group with the alternative HAp bone grafts produced by us. Third group cases were also filled with commercial hydroxapatite grafts. The operation area was then closed according to the routine surgical rules. All rats were sacrificed in the postoperative 14th and 28th days. The HAp impalance produced in histopathological assessments was observed in the process of bone marrow. As a result, it was believed that it would be useful to reveal its availability as a produced HAp bone grip with long-term and detailed research.
