Abstract:

Nizâmî has influenced many names in Turkish literature with his works, and for centuries the poet’s works have been written by Nazareth. Among them, especially the first mesnevie in the Hamse tradition, Mahzenü’l-Esrâr, is in an important position. This is the story of Isaiah, who is the author of the Holy Qur’an, which is written in the Qur’an. Ismail Nâkâm was a poet who lived in the 19th century in the Azerbaijani region, a period of time arrived in Istanbul and brought his works into the body according to the classical poetry tradition. The poet has many works. Genc-i Edeb mesnevisi, which in the last years of his life reflects the point of view of man, life and religion and is advised that eternal happiness will be achieved through religious life, is important in terms of being one of the last nazis written to Mahzenü'l-Esrâr and in terms of reflecting the poet's poem understanding that is not much known in the era. In this work we prepared first was mentioned about the life and works of Ismail Nâkâm, then referred to the shape and characteristics of the Genc-i Edeb mesnevisis and compared to the work of Nizâmî. Abstract: Nizâmî’s works and poems have influenced many writers in Turkish literature and produced copy (nazire) works and poems for centuries. The subject of our study is Ismail Nâkâm's Genc-i Edeb mesnevi, which is a nazire written upon the Mahzenü’l-Esrâr of Nizâmî. Ismail Nâkâm was a 19th century poet who lived in the Azerbaijan and stayed in Istanbul for a period, he produced his work in line with the tradition of classical poetry. The poet produced many works. Genc-i Edeb mesnevi, reflects on the perspective of human beings, life and religion towards the last years of one’s life, and advises people that the eternal happiness can be reached by living by the religion. This work is important both because it is one of the last nazire written to Mahzenü’l-Esrâr mesnevi and as it reflects the poet's understanding of poetry.
