Abstract:

In this study, the aim of the Imam-Hatip High School is to study the perceptions of the teachers' qualifications of professional lessons. The research is designed in visual scanning and comparative relative scanning models. In the study, one of the 12 districts determined by TÜIK as level 1 in the region classification of Turkey was selected as sample districts. A total of 3775 students studying in the Imam-Hatip High School from the selected provinces as an example were surveyed in the spring period of the 2015-2016 academic year. The study, along with the personal information form as a data collection tool, has been developed by the researcher in the framework of this research, using the "General Qualification Perception Measurement for Teachers of IHL Students' Professional Classes". The data was analyzed in the SPSS 22 package program. In data analysis, together with visual analysis, independent sampling t-test and one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) methods have been used. The study found that the perceptions of the IHL students about the qualifications of the teachers of the professional course were "a little sufficient" (X=3,21) level. In addition, the study found that the perceptions of the teachers' qualifications of the teachers' professional classes did not differ according to the gender variable, and that the status of class, non-school religious education, the area desired to study in the university and the province variables found significantly differed.
