Abstract:

Class teachers are responsible for conducting music lessons, as well as other courses they give at the primary level. Success in this mission can be achieved with a well-planned, implemented and evaluated education life. The Bachelor level music courses and class teacher candidate are expected to have the ability to acquire the achievements that the course is aimed at and discuss their reflections in the field of the educational system of the country in which they live regardless of the level. Because basically, from the first year of higher education, it aims to provide the country with the ability to think about the way to solve the problem, with an idea. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current status of the music course in primary education according to the opinions of the classmates candidates. In the study, the opinions of class teacher candidates on the current situation with regard to the elementary music course have been analyzed and interpreted by content analysis as a quality data. The research work group, in the 2017-2018 educational-educational year, constitutes 114 second-class teachers candidates who take the music course in the Primary Education Class Teaching Program at the Gaziosmanpaşa University School of Education. The explanations of the class teacher candidates in the composite positions were transmitted to the electronic medium and the content analysis was made. The opinions of the class teacher candidates who evaluate the current situation with regard to the music course in primary education; the content of the music course at primary education level, the teacher, play/material, attitude, environment/physical condition, application titles. The candidates have seen their attention to the lack of music training program, the teacher, the materials, the physical conditions. In addition, they have studied their methods of application and default attitudes from a critical point of view.
