Dil, bir milletin kimliğini ortaya koyan, kültür taşıyıcı olma özelliği gösteren, seslerden oluşmuş bir kurumdur. Bu sosyal kurum içerisinde yer alan sözvarlıkları, yalnızca o dilin sözcüklerinden oluşmaz. Deyimler, kalıplaşmış sözler, atasözleri, terimler ve çeşitli anlatım kalıpları da bu söz varlıkları içerisine dâhil edilir. Dilin yapı taşını oluşturan sözvarlıkları, dilin bu kültür taşıyıcı özelliği ile nesillerden nesillere aktarılır. Söz varlığı içinde özellikle temel sözvarlığı alanında incelenen bitki adları, dil biliminin anlam boyutundaki dallarından biri olan ad bilimi içinde değerlendirilir. Bu çalışmada, bitki adlarından sebze ve meyve adları incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sebze ve meyve adlarını tespit edebilmek için Türkçe Verintiler Sözlüğü kullanılmıştır. Türkçenin değişik lehçelerinden sözleri barındıran bu sözlük, Türkçeden başka dile bilgi aktarmış, geçtiği dilin anlam alanında yerleşmiş sözlük birimlerinin yer aldığı eserdir. Bu makalenin amacı, Türkçe Verintiler Sözlüğünde yer alan sebze ve meyve adlarını sayısal açısından tespit etmek ve hangi dillere geçtiğini göstermeye çalışmaktır. Türkçe Verintiler Sözlüğünde toplamda yirmi yedi sebze türü tespit edilmiştir. Sayısal veri açısından diğer dillere en fazla sayıda geçen sebzeler olarak; patlıcan (13), pırasa ve bamya (9), kabak ve pancar (8), fasulye ve çükündür (7), karnabit, marul, turp (6)’un kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Sayısal veri açısından diğer dillere en az sayıda geçen sebzeler; Acur, Alabaş, Ali Bey Otu, Hıyar, Berengi, Semizotu (2), domates, patates, sarımsak (3)’tır. Türkçe Verintiler Sözlüğünde toplamda kırk bir (41) meyve türü tespit edilmiştir. Sayısal veri açısından diğer dillere en fazla sayıda geçen meyveler; Limon (13), Bostan (12), Bey armudu (11), Karpuz (10), Vişne (9), Kestane, Kavun, Dut, Armut (8), Hurma, Nar, Şeftali, Kayısı (7); en az sayıda geçenler ise; Akdut (1), Altınbaş (1), Ananas (1), Kuş Üzümü (1), Yamışan (1); Banana (2), Çavuş üzümü (2), Hindistan Cevizi (2), Yeni bahar (2)’dır.

The language is an institution composed of voices that reveals the identity of a nation, which shows the characteristic of being a cultural carrier. The vocabulary within this social institution does not consist only of the words of that language. Words, forms, speeches, terms, and various patterns of narrative are also included in these words. The vocabulary that form the structure of the language is transmitted from generations to generations with this cultural carrier characteristic of the language. The plant names studied in the word existence, especially in the field of basic vocabulary, are assessed in the name science, which is one of the branches in the meaning size of language science. In this study, we tried to study the names of vegetables and fruits from the names of plants. The Turkish Verintiler Dictionary was used to identify the names of vegetables and fruits. This dictionary containing words from different languages of Turkish is the work of dictionary units located in the field of meaning of the language it passes, which has transmitted information to other languages than Turkish. The purpose of this article is to numerically identify the names of the vegetables and fruits in the Turkish Verintists Dictionary and to try to show which languages it translates. In the Turkish Verintites Dictionary there are a total of twenty-seven species of vegetables identified. As the number of vegetables transmitted to other languages in terms of numerical data, it has been identified that the most number of vegetables is used: pineapple (13), pineapple and pineapple (9), pineapple and pineapple (8), beans and pineapple (7), carnabit, marul, turbine (6). In terms of numerical data, the minimum number of vegetables that pass to other languages is: Acur, Alabaş, Ali Mr. Otu, Hyar, Berengi, Semizotu (2), tomatoes, potatoes, cheese (3). In the Turkish Verintites Dictionary, a total of 41 species of fruit have been identified. In terms of numerical data, the most number of flowers to other languages are: Limon (13), Bostan (12), Mr. Armudu (11), Karpuz (10), Vişne (9), Kestane, Kavun, Dut, Armut (8), Hurma, Nar, Sheftali, Kayı (7); the least number of flowers are: Akdut (1), Altınbaş (1), Ananas (1), Bird Wine (1), Yamışan (1); Banana (2), Cavus Wine (2), Indian Corn (2), New Spring (2).

Language is an institution that shows the identity of a nation and is a culture carrier. The vocabulary of this social institution is not composed of the words of that language. Idioms, stereotypes, proverbs, terms and various narrative patterns are also included in these utterances. The vocabulary of the language, which forms the construction of the language, is transferred from generation to generation with this culture bearing characteristic of language. The names of plants, which are examined in the field of basic vocabulary especially in vocabulary, are considered within the science of name, which is one of the branches of meaning of linguistics. In this study, the names of vegetables and fruits from plant names were tried to be evaluated. In order to identify the names of vegetables and fruits, Turkish Sender Dictionary was used. Turkish Sender Dictionary, which contains words from various dialects of Turkish, is a work of Turkish language, which give information to other languages from Turkish, and contains information units in the semantic field of language. The aim of this article is to determine the terms of vegetables and fruits in Turkish Sender Dictionary with numerical data and try to show which languages they have. A total of twenty seven vegetable species were identified in the Turkish Sender Dictionary In terms of numerical data as the highest number of vegetables in other languages; eggplant (13), leek and okra (9), zucchini and beet (8), bean and beet (7), cauli, lettuce, radish (6) has been used. Vegetables with the least number of other languages in terms of numerical data; Gherkin Kohlrabi, Ali Bey Herb, Cucumber, Berengi, Purslane (2), tomato, potato, garlic (3). Forty-one (41) fruit species were identified in Turkish Sender Glossary. In terms of numerical data, the highest number of fruits in other languages; Lemon (13), Bostan (12), Bey pear (11), Watermelon (10), Cherry (9), Chestnut, Melon, Mulberry, Pear (8), Date, Pomegranate, Peach, Apricot (7); the least number of passers-by, white-mulberry (1), gold-headed (1), Pineapple (1), Currant (1), Mespilus (1); Banana (2), Sergeant grape (2), Coconut (2), New spring (2).
