Introduction: Some researches point to a higher prevalence of Binge Eating (CAP) and Binge Eating Disorder (BED) in university students due to lifestyle changes, psychological pressure and reduced available time for eating. Objective: To investigate the presence of Binge Eating in university students of Nutrition and Physiotherapy courses. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive, quantitative and transversal research. The population consisted of 252 students from the Nutrition and Physiotherapy courses. The Binge Eating Scale (ECAP) was used as self-administered questionnaire to assess the presence or absence of BED. Results: Most students did not show compulsion, with a percentage of 73,4%, considering that 20.6% had a certain variation in the act of eating and 6% had periodic Binge Eating. The values that contributed to the significant difference were 82.5% from the Nutrition course, who were normal without getting the compulsion, to 26.1% from the Physiotherapy course, which has a variation of inclination to eat a lot. Conclusion: There were significant differences related to the habit of eating when one is upset, as well as knowing the ideal calories to be ingested per day, in addition to a difference in the practice of physical activity and in the Binge Eating Scale.
