İç güvenlik hizmetlerinde önemli görevi olan jandarma personelinin eğitimi gerek kamu kaynaklarının verimli kullanımında, gerekse daha modern bir iç güvenlik yapısının kazanılmasında büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bunun için eğitim verilen personelin eğitime karşı yatkınlıkları ve akademik anlamda güdülenme düzeyleri ön plana çıkmaktadır. Yapılan bu araştırmada, jandarma personelinin akademik güdülenme düzeyleri ve eğitime yatkınlıkları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada bu çerçevede, 2018 yılının Ocak-Mayıs ayları arasında Tunceli Jandarma Komutanlığı bünyesinde görevli n=397 jandarma personeli üzerinde anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre akademik güdülenme düzeyi demografik özelliklere göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir (p>0.05). Öte yandan eğitime eğilim eğitim durumu ve rütbeye göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede farklılık göstermektedir (p<0.05). Korelasyon analizi sonuçlarından da görüleceği gibi, akademik güdülenme düzeyleri ile eğitime eğilim arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır (p>0.05).
The training of police personnel, which is an important role in internal security services, is of great importance in the efficient use of public resources, and in the achievement of a more modern internal security structure if necessary. For this purpose, the skill of the trained staff against training and the levels of academic motivation are on the forefront. This study is aimed at exploring the relationship between the levels of academic motivation of the police personnel and their inclination to training. In this framework, the survey was carried out on the n=397 personnel of the Tunceli Jandarma Command between January and May of 2018. According to the findings obtained in the study, the level of academic motivation does not show a statistically significant difference from the demographic characteristics (p>0.05). On the other hand, the tendency to education differs statistically significantly according to the status and ranking of education (p<0.05). As the correlation analysis results will see, there is no statistically meaningful relationship between the levels of academic motivation and the trend to education (p>0.05).

In this research, it is aimed to investigate the relationship between gendarmerie staff's academic motivation levels and educational attitudes. Survey was conducted on n = 397 gendarmerie personnel in charge of Tunceli Gendarmerie Command between January and May 2018 in this framework. According to the findings of the research, the level of academic motivation did not show a statistically significant difference according to the demographic characteristics (p> 0.05). On the other hand, the educational attainment differs statistically by educational status and rank (p <0.05). As can be seen from the correlation analysis results, there was no statistically significant relationship between academic motivation levels and educational attitudes (p> 0.05).
