Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to reveal which humanistic tourism resources are used by the tourists visiting the touristic values in certain regions of Ankara by examining their TripAdvisor and Google Maps comments. The research data are obtained by considering the touristic assets of Ankara, Yaşayan Köy Beypazarı, Ankara Somut Olmayan Kültürel Miras (SOKÜM) Museum and Altınköy Açık Hava Museum. Content analysis method is used in the analysis of the data. In this study, TripAdvisor (414 comments) and Google Maps (10.160 comments), the most preferred user-created website, is used to analyze comments on visitors' views in the specified regions of Ankara. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that humanistic tourism resources are highlighted in the promotion and information documents of Yaşayan Köy Beypazarı, Altınköy Açık Hava Museum and Ankara SOKÜM Museum. Especially traditional handicrafts and traditional children's games are included in all three touristic values within the scope of educational activities carried out by the local people. Humanistic tourism resources, which are highlighted in the promotional and information documents of the three touristic values, are also highlighted in the visitor comments. In addition, Yaşayan Köy Beypazarı and Altınköy Açık Hava Museum are seen as a kind of humanistic tourism resource as they are developed with the participation of local people and also have traditional village characteristics.
