Abstract:

This study aims to study the STEM attitudes of special talented students and the levels of possession of the 21st century skills. In the study, the relational scan design was used. The research study group consists of 147 special skilled students studying at a Science and Arts Center located in the Eastern Anadolu Region. The data collection tool is "STEM Attitude Scale" and "Multi-Dimensional 21. The scale of the century’s skills was used. In the analysis of the data, together with visual statistics; independent of the parametric tests, the sample t test, the ANOVA and Pearson Moments Collapse Correlation Score analysis were carried out. The findings show that the STEM attitudes of the participants are positive and the level of possession of the 21st century skills is high. Even though there is no connection between the STEM attitudes and the levels of the 21st century skills, the 21st century skills from the "creative thinking and problem-solving" and the "entrepreneurship and innovation" subdimensions to the STEM attitude scale "21st century skills" subdimensions and the total scores have been found to have a meaningful and positive relationship at a low level. Recommendations are made according to the findings
