Abstract:

This research aims to identify the communication status of the teacher with the family in the pre-school education process and the communication problems that teachers experience with the families. The study’s work group consists of 10 teachers working in public pre-school education institutions in Ankara or Etimesgut in the 2021-2022 educational year. Teachers who are included in the work group are determined among volunteers and by the easy-to-access sample method. The teachers were given an interview form consisting of 6 open end questions created by the researcher. The data of the study was analyzed using the visual analysis method. The findings of the study are the following: The teachers’ opinions are that when the communication problems between the pre-school teachers and their parents are divided into categories; the "problems arising from the family's environment" category is the most problems arising from uneducated relatives; the "family's" economic situation issues are the most communication problems arising from material supply; the "problems arising from the physical conditions of the school" category is the most problems arising from cleaning failure of the school; the "mother's work status" category is the most problems arising from the incapacity to consult with the working mothers; the "family's" economic situation is the most problems arising from the "family's" category.
