Abstract:

In this article, the source assessment of the work of Ahterî Mustafa Efendi, from the 16th-century Ottoman leaders, will be made. In this book, Hz. From Adam to Hz. He wrote his work in Arabic. In terms of the method, the classical Islamic historical books have been written in accordance with the tradition, far from the comment, with a revitalizing-national style. But he did not mention the long chains of righteous events. When using the source, he sometimes translated the name of the work, sometimes the name of the author, sometimes the name of the book. The first great Islamic historians made the most rivayed as Taberi from Ibn Abbas. He wrote this work about Ahterî siyer, he used many sources in the fields of language, hadith, fıkıh, tasavvuf, including first the interpretation and history books.
