ÖZEL HASTANELERİN KURUMSAL İLETİŞİM FAALİYETLERİNDE KURUMSAL WEB SİTELERİNİN KULLANIMI

Abstract:

Kuruluşların hedef kitlelerinde olumlu bir algı oluşturmak ve bu olumlu algının devamlılığını sağlamak amacı ile başvurduğu iletişim araçlarından biri de kurumsal web siteleridir. Web siteleri sayesinde kurum, kendisi hakkındaki bilgileri ilk elden paydaşları ve hedef kitlesiyle paylaşma imkânı elde etmektedir. Sosyal medya kullanımın yaygınlaşmasından önceki süreçte sağlık iletişimi alanında çalışanlar sağlık konusundaki mesajları topluma yaymada televizyon, radyo ve ilan panoları gibi geleneksel yöntemleri tercih etmekteydi. İnternet ortamının kullanımının yaygınlaşması, web siteleri ve sosyal medya uygulamalarının geniş kitlelere erişim imkânını sağlaması ile birlikte artık belirlenen mesajların doğru hedef kitleye çok daha etkili bir biçimde ulaşması sağlanabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda Özel hastane yönetimleri de kurumsal web siteleri aracılığıyla hem kurumsal yapıları, sundukları sağlık hizmetinin kalitesi, çeşitliliği vb. hakkında hedef kitlelerine bilgi aktarırken hem de onlarla interaktif bir iletişim ortamı yaratma imkânı elde etmektedirler. Gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın amacı özel hastanelerin kurumsal iletişim faaliyetlerinde kurumsal web sitelerini nasıl kullandıklarını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu bağlamda tüm Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren ve SGK (Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu) ile anlaşması olan 490 özel hastanenin web siteleri incelenmiş ve kurumsal iletişim faaliyetleri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla, söz konusu hastanelerin web sayfaları, “Web sitesi tasarımı, Kurumsal kimlik, Kurum tanıtımı, Online kurumsal yayınlar, Sosyal medya, İnternet aracılı iletişim, Medya ilişkileri” boyutlarında incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur.

Abstract:

One of the communication tools that organizations use in order to create a positive perception in their target audiences and to ensure the continuity of this positive perception is corporate websites. Through its websites, the organization gets the opportunity to share information about itself with its stakeholders and target audience in first hand. In the process before the spread of the use of social media, workers in the field of health communication preferred traditional methods such as television, radio and advertising panels in the publication of health messages. With the spread of the use of the Internet environment, the possibility of access to the broad audience by websites and social media applications, the messages identified now can be made to reach the right target audience much more effectively. In this context, the private hospital administrations also through the corporate websites both the corporate structures, the quality of the healthcare they offer, the diversity, etc. They are able to communicate with their target audience and create an interactive communication environment. The aim of this research is to reveal how private hospitals use corporate websites in corporate communication activities. In this context, the websites of 490 private hospitals, which operate throughout Turkey and have agreed with the SGK (Social Security Authority), have been examined and evaluated in terms of corporate communication activities. For this purpose, the web pages of the hospitals concerned have been examined in the dimensions of "Website design, Corporate identity, Corporate promotion, Online corporate publications, Social media, Internet communication, Media relationships".

Corporate web sites are one of the communication tools that are used to create a positive perception and to provide its continuance. Through the websites, the corporation has a chance to share the information with its shareholders and target audiences at first hand. Before the common usage of social media, practitioners in the field of health communication preferred traditional methods like TV, radio and billboards to spread the messages about health topics. With the widespread use of the Internet, the availability of web sites and social media applications to access large quantities, it is now possible to achieve a much more effective and intermediary reach of designated messages to the right target audience. In this context, private hospital administrations through the websites can not only transfer institutional structures, quality of health service and diversity to their target audiences but also can create an interactive communication environment with them. The purpose of this research is to reveal how private hospitals use corporate web sites in corporate communication activities. In this context, the websites of 490 private hospitals all operating in Turkey and contracted with SGK were examined in the dimensions of "Website design, Corporate identity, Information about corporation, Online corporate publications, Social media, Internet mediated communication, Media relations".
