Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının öz yeterlik düzeyleri ile çoklu zekâ alanları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmanın örneklemini Giresun ve Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesinde okul öncesi öğretmenliği bölümünde 4. sınıfa devam eden 210 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Armstrong (1993) tarafından geliştirilen Türkçeye çevirisi Saban (2002) tarafından yapılan Eğitimciler İçin Çoklu Zekâ Alanları Envanteri ve Tepe (2011) tarafından geliştirilen Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerinin Tek Boyutlu Öz Yeterlik İnançları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler SSPS paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda çoklu zekâ alanlarından görsel-uzamsal zekâ ve doğacı zekâ ile öz yeterlik inançlarının tüm alt boyutlarında pozitif yönlü, bedensel-kinestetik zekâ ile öz yeterlik inançlarının iletişim becerileri alt boyutunda ise negatif yönlü anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Çoklu zekâ ile öz yeterlik inançları cinsiyet açısından incelendiğinde çoklu zekâ alanlarından sözel-dil, mantıksal-matematiksel, görsel-uzamsal ve müziksel-ritmik zekâları ile öz yeterlik inançlarının tüm alt boyutlarında kadınlar lehine anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between the level of self-qualification of pre-school teachers candidates and multiple fields of intelligence. According to this goal, the examples of the research are formed by 210 teachers who continue to the 4th grade in the Pre-School Teaching Department at the Technical University of the Black Sea. The Personal Information Form developed by researchers as a data collection tool in the research, was developed by Armstrong (1993) in Turkish translation by Saban (2002) for educators Multiple Intelligence Fields Inventory and Mountains (2011) developed by Pre-School Teachers' One-Dimensional Self-Competence Faiths Scale. The data is analyzed in the SSPS package program. According to the research, visual-universal intelligence and natural intelligence and the positive, physical-kinesthetic intelligence and the communication skills of self-capacity beliefs in all subdimensions have found negative significant differences in the subdimensions. When multi-intelligence and self-capacity beliefs were studied in terms of gender, there were significant differences in the benefit of women in all subdimensions of self-capacity beliefs, from multi-intelligence fields to verbal-language, logical-matematical, visual-universal and musical-ritmic intelligence. When studied the beliefs of multi-intelligence and self-capacity from a university point of view, the logical-matematical intelligence and the music-ritmic intelligence fields and self-capacity beliefs have found a significant difference in the size of family participation in the Black Sea Technical University.

The Study Of Relationship Between Preschool Teacher Candidates’ Self-efficacy Beliefs and Multiple Intelligence Domains

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of self-efficacy levels of preschool teacher candidates and multiple intelligence types. In accordance with this purpose, the research sample consisted of 210 teacher candidates studying in 4th grade in the Faculty of Education at Giresun and Black Sea Technical University. Personal Information Form developed by the researchers, Multiple Intelligence Domains Inventory For Educators developed by Amstrong (1993) and translated into Turkish by Saban (2002), One-Dimensional Self-Efficacy Scale of Preschool Teachers developed by Tepe were used as data collection tool in this study. The data of this study were analyzed by SPSS package software. As a result of the study, a positive and significant difference was found in all sub-dimensions of visual-spatial intelligence, naturalist intelligence, and self-efficacy beliefs; but a negative direction between kinesthetic intelligence and communicational sub-dimensions of self-efficacy beliefs. When multiple intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs were examined in terms of gender, there was a significant difference in favor of women in verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial and musical-rhythmic intelligence and all the sub-dimensions of self-efficacy beliefs. When the multiple intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs were examined in terms of university diversity, it was found that there was a remarkable difference in logical-mathematical intelligence, musical-rhythmic intelligence and self-efficacy beliefs in favor of Karadeniz Technical University.
