Her eğitim sisteminin bir amacı olduğu gibi Türk milli eğitim sisteminin amaçları Milli Eğitim Temel Kanununda belirtilmiştir. Milli eğitimin genel amaçları incelendiğinde iki temel alana vurgu yaptığı görülmektedir ki bunlar “ahlaki olgunluk” ve “iyi oluş hali”dir. Bu çalışmada da bireylerin iyi oluş hali ve ahlaki olgunluk düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu anlamda öğrencilerin öznel iyi olma hali ile ahlaki olgunluk düzeylerinin tespiti ve bunların birbiriyle olan ilişkilerinin ne boyutta olduğunun da araştırılması önem arz etmektedir. Anadolu imam hatip lisesi öğrencilerinin ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri ile öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinin ne olduğu ve iki durum arasındaki ilişki durumunun araştırıldığı bu çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeline göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya Anadolu imam hatip lisesinde öğrenim gören ve her sınıf seviyesinden toplam 2074 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; ahlaki olgunluk ve iyi oluş hali düzeylerinde cinsiyet, aylık gelir durumu, sosyal medya ve bilgisayarda geçirdiği günlük süresi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Son olarak araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin öznel iyi oluş ve ahlaki olgunluk düzeylerine arasında orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin öznel iyi oluş düzeyi arttıkça ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri de artmaktadır. Öznel iyi oluş ve ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri ve bu düzeyler arasındaki ilişkinin incelendiği bu araştırmanın literatüre önemli katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The general objectives of national education which are specified in the Basic Law of National Education are examined, it is seen that it emphasizes two main areas. These are “moral maturity” and “well-being”. In this sense, determining the subjective well-being and moral maturity levels of the students and investigating the extent of their relationship with each other is important. In this study, it is aimed at determining the relationship between subjective well-being and moral maturity. This study, which investigates the moral maturity levels and subjective well-being levels of the Anatolian Imam Hatip High School students and the relationship between the two situations, is conducted according to the relative screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. A total of 2074 students from each grade level participated in the study from Anatolian imam hatip high school. According to the research results; significant difference was found in moral maturity and well-being levels according to gender, monthly income status, social media and daily time spent on computer. In addition, it is observed that there is a moderately significant relationship between subjective well-being and moral maturity levels of the students participating in the research. It is thought that this study, which examines the subjective well-being and moral maturity levels and the relationship between these levels, will contribute to the policy makers as it explains the factors related to the literature and the well-being of the youth because it fills the gap in the field.
