Abstract:

This study was carried out in Turkey with the aim of analysing the work on the concept cartoons according to the meta-sensation method and determining the trend in the field text. The study covered a total of 96 studies, including 39 scientific articles on concept cartoons between 2005 and 2019, 52 master theses and 5 doctoral theses. The data in the study was obtained with the help of the Google Academic Search Engine, Higher Education Academic Search Engine, MagazinePark and YÖK National Thesis Center databases. Analysis of the work was carried out. In this context, the studies, the year of publication, the subject area, the purpose, the research method, the sample group and numbers, the data collection tools, the application periods and the research results are studied in the context. The data is interpreted with the help of tables and graphics. The studies studied often in recent years, more in the subject of science, the concept cartoons to different variables (success, attitude, interest, motivation, etc.) The effect was determined by quantum methods and more with high school students to study. Also, studies often used as a test and scale as a data collection tool, are usually applied for 4-5 weeks and 11-20 hours of course. The results of the reviewed studies often show that the application of the concept cartoon has a positive impact on the relevant variables and that students have a positive view of the concept cartoon as a result of the teaching process. This situation shows that the concept cartoons can be used as an effective teaching technique. There are several recommendations for educators and researchers.
