Abstract:

Abstract This work is part of the results of the Project "Spatial differentiation and identities in Havana City, which belongs to the Territorial Program of Social Sciences "Identity in Havana City": Contexts and scenarios. It is elaborated with secondary information, and deals with an approximation to demographic indicators that allow differentiating territorial contexts of identity, taking as a substrate the relationship between the territorial units defined in the political-administrative division in force since 1976 and those of the previous division. The main sources of the research are the (National Statistics Office ONE), and results of research projects carried out by the authors, among other bibliographic sources.
