Duyguların Anlamını Yitirmesinde Sosyal Medyanın Rolü: Özlem Duygusu Üzerine Bir Analiz

İletişim teknolojileri, geliştiği her aşamada, bireyleri birbirine daha fazla yakınlaştırmaktadır. Günümüzde bu teknolojilerin sağladığı tüm imkânları kullanan karmaşık bir iletişim yapısı olan sosyal medya mecraları varlığını sürdürmektedir. Günümüz toplum yapısının vazgeçilmez bir parçası haline gelen sosyal medya, toplumsal mesafelerin ortadan kaldırılmasında önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. Sosyal medya, yaşamın her alanında bireylere büyük ve köklü değişiklikler sağlamaktadır. Bu değişiklikler, bireylerin yalnızca fiziksel dünyalarında değil, duygusal dünyalarında da değişime yol açan bir süreç olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Sosyal medya aracılığı ile sesli, yazılı ve görüntülü olarak zaman ve mekân sınırlaması olmaksızın iletişime geçebilen ve birbirleriyle her an etkileşim halinde olan bireylerin, bu etkileşim sürecinde davranışları ve davranışların ardındaki duyguları değişikliğe uğramaktadır. Bu duygulardan biri olan özlem duygusu yokluğunu hissettiğiniz birey ya da bireyleri görmek veya kavuşmayı istemek şeklinde tanımlanırken, hasret duyulan şeylerin değerini daha anlamlı kılabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada Sosyal medya sayesinde bireylerin birbirleri arasındaki mesafelerin kalkması sebebiyle, herhangi bir anda iletişime geçen bireylerin özlem duygusunda azalma, artma, değişim veya dönüşümünün tespit edilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada yapılan anket sonuçlarının oranları yorumlanarak sosyal medya mecraları aracılığıyla bireylerin birbirine karşı hissettikleri özlem duygusunun dönüşümü, elde edilen veriler aracılığıyla analiz edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Communication technologies, at every stage they develop, make individuals closer to each other. Nowadays, social media mechanisms continue to exist, a complex communication structure that uses all the possibilities that these technologies provide. Social media, which has become an integral part of today’s social structure, plays an important role in eliminating social distances. Social media brings big and radical changes to individuals in all areas of life. These changes come to us as a process that leads to change not only in the physical worlds of individuals, but also in the emotional worlds. Those individuals who can communicate through social media, voice, written and visual, without time and space limit, and who are interacting with each other at any time, their behaviors and emotions behind the behaviors and behaviors are altered during this process of interaction. One of these feelings is the feeling of desire that is defined as seeing or wanting to meet the individual or individuals you feel the absence, while it can make the value of the desire more meaningful. This study is carried out with the aim of identifying the decline, increase, change or transformation in the feeling of desire of individuals who communicate at any time due to the rise of the distances between individuals. In this context, the ratio of the results of the survey conducted in the study will be interpreted and the conversion of the feeling of desire that individuals feel against each other through the social media mechanisms will be attempted to be analyzed through the data obtained.

Nowadays, social media channels, which have a complex communication structure that uses all the resources provided by these technologies, continue to exist. Social media, which has become an indispensable part of today's social structure, plays an important role in eliminating social distances. Social media provides great and fundamental changes to individuals in every aspect of life. These changes appear both in the physical worlds and in the emotional worlds of individuals. Individuals interact with each other at all times by using social media via voice, written and visual messages, without limitation of time and space. This interaction process changes their behaviors and the emotions behind their behaviors. One of these emotions, the feeling of longing, is defined as the want to see person(s) whose absence is felt. This study aims to determine the intensity of the feeling of longing for individuals who communicate at any time by social media, whether it decrease, increase or stay the same. In this context, the transformation brought by social media channels to the intensity of the feeling of longing that individuals feel for each other will be analyzed through the data obtained.
