Abstract:

Scientific ethics is crucial to ensure the quality of scientific studies in our country, to ensure that society is trusted in scientific research and results and to maintain this confidence. Scientists who are going to lead to future scientific research are now trained in bachelor's and postgraduate programs at universities. The research was carried out with 50 students who are getting postgraduate education at the Institute of Education Sciences, the Institute of Information, the Institute of Sciences. The purpose of the research is to reveal students who are getting postgraduate education their knowledge about scientific research and publication ethics and ethical violations and where they learned this information. The research finds that graduate-level students do not have sufficient knowledge of scientific research and publication ethics. The majority of the researchers believe that sanctions against ethical violations are insufficient, and the participants believe that ethical violations are increasing. These results have been found to give the same results as literature. The majority of participants have been aware of the suicidal programs and even if they don’t know the program’s name, it has been found that it is a program that investigates the existence of ethical violations.
