Abstract:

Edimbilim, dil kullanımı üzerine yoğunlaşan bir disiplindir. Temel inceleme alanı dilin iletişimde nasıl kullanıldığı üzerinedir. Edimbilim, söylem çözümlemesi alanı gibi bağlam içerisindeki dilin kullanımını ele alarak iletişim bağlamındaki dil kullanımlarını ve durumsal bağlama göre şekillenen işlevlerini belirlemeye çalışır. Bu çalışmada, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Başkanı Trump’ın Çin, Kuzey Kore, Rusya, İran ve Türkiye ile ilgili kullandığı tehdit içerikli ifadeler edimbilimsel açıdan ele alınmış ve Amerika örneği ile siyasilerin sıkça başvurdukları tehdit dilinin dilsel özellikleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Başkan Trump’ın göreve başladığı 2016 yılından 2020 yılına kadar olan dönemde Çin, Kuzey Kore, Rusya, İran ve Türkiye ile ilgili attığı tehdit içerikli tweetler incelenmiş, elde edilen verilerin Sketch Engine yazılımı ile sıklık ve bağımlı dizin analizleri yapılmış, ilgili grafikler oluşturulmuş, sonuç kısmında da elde edilen bulgular yorumlanmıştır.
