Abstract:

The research has tried to reveal the factors affecting the awareness of corporate strategic management tools. While the corporate strategic management tools were determined as "strategic planning tool, mission and vision, scorecard, basic competence, information management, evaluation and control, total quality management, strategic human resources, business capabilities", the factors were determined as "gender, educational status, position in the hospital". , age, total years of work, type of hospital, years of work in the hospital, education in the field of strategic management, the competitive situation in the hospital environment, and the presence of other hospitals operating in the area were determined. Research A study was conducted on health managers working in public and private health institutions in Samsun and a questionnaire was applied to conduct the study. The obtained data were analyzed by Chaid analysis from Decision Trees, which is included in Data Mining methods, of the factors affecting the awareness of corporate strategic management tools. The aim here is to determine the strengths and weaknesses by revealing the factors that affect the awareness of the corporate strategic management tools of the managers working in the health sector. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that the most knowledgeable tool is the mission and vision tool, and the least knowledgeable tool is business capabilities. In the study, it has been determined that those who have a low position in the hospital and who have received strategic management training have more information about corporate strategic management tools.
