Every book has a message to the reader. The messages that children receive from the books they read in their cognitive, sensual, moral and personal development are effective. This is why children’s books are important in terms of the messages they host in. The works of Ibrahim Örs, which is considered one of the strong writers of the period with the works he received for children, were recommended to our students within the 100 Basic Works prepared by the Ministry of National Education. This study was done with the aim of identifying and examining the educational messages contained in the 13 works of Ibrahim Örs for children, with the messages that the writer wants to transmit to children in his works, with the aim of revealing what aspects children intend to develop. For this purpose, the writer's works are scaned by the method of document examination from the quality research methods, classified according to the purposes of the messages contained in the works. According to the purposes of the messages, the educational messages that support personal development, the educational messages that support social development, the educational messages that support the development of national thought, the educational messages that support the development of environmental consciousness, the educational messages that support the development of the 5th world thought, are classified as educational messages that support social development, the educational messages that support the development of national thought, and the educational messages that support the development of the 5th world thought. At the end of the study, there were 776 different messages found in the 13 works of Ibrahim Örs. The most of these messages was reached to the conclusion that the messages "Supporting Personal Development" were included with a maximum of 394 messages.

That is why children's books are important in terms of the messages they bear.The works of Ibrahim Örs, who is regarded as one of the strong authors of his period with his works for children, have been recommended to our students within the scope of 100 basic Works prepared by the Ministry of National Education. The aim of this study is to analyze the educational messages of the 13 works of İbrahim Örs about children to understand what aspect of children he wants to develop in his products. With this aim in mind, document analysis method was used when analyzing his works and the messages were classified in terms of their aims. With regards to their aims, there messages can be classified as follows: 1- Educational Messages that foster personal development 2- Educational Messages that foster societal development 3- Educational Messages that foster nationalistic ideas 4- Educational Messages that foster Environmental Awareness 5- Educational Messages that foster Universal Ideas. The study revealed 776 different messages of Ibrahim Örs in 13 of his works. It is found out that 394 of the messages are related to personal development.
