Abstract:

As a result of the 150th birthday of Ahmet Bey Ağaoğlu (Ağayev) of the great thinkers of the Turkish world, many events have been organized in Turkey and Azerbaijan; symposium, scientific congress, conference, etc. Though these events serve the enrichment of the relevant literature, the great work to be done has not yet been done. This study is the collection, classification of the hundreds of articles published in the various press bodies in the years in which Mr. Ahmet lived and operated in Azerbaijan (Russia) and Turkey (Osman) and the completion of his bibliography. The activities of Ahmet Bey Ağaoğlu, characterized in the period of the rule of the socialist regime in his homeland Azerbaijan in the form of "inverse Pantürküst and Pan-Islamist", "historic destroyer", "serving the bourgeois interests", "bourgeois ideologist", "feeding the philosophical idealism and mysticism" etc., have never been studied in that period, but have only been partly referred to in various publications in a superficial and side way.
