Sosyal eylem, “insanları olumsuz yönde etkileyen maddi ve sosyal koşulları değiştirmeye yönelik sistematik ve bilinçli çaba” olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Tanımından anlaşılacağı üzere sosyal eylem kavramının çıkış noktası, sosyal hizmet mesleğinin hedefleriyle uyuşmaktadır. Sosyal hizmet uzmanları geçmişten günümüze mikro, mezzo ve makro düzeydeki baskı karşıtı ve güçlendirme odaklı mesleki müdahalelerinde sosyal eylemden yararlanmışlardır. Çalışma; toplumsal cinsiyet, engellilik ve mültecilik alanlarında sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının sosyal eylemden nasıl yararlandıklarını anlatmasından ötürü önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmada sosyal eylem kavramının içeriği, sosyal eylem kavramının sosyal hizmet uygulamasında kullanımına dair tarihçe ve sosyal eylemin sosyal hizmet uygulamasında kullanım alanları (toplumsal cinsiyet, engellilik, mültecilik) aktarılması amaçlanmıştır
Social action is defined as “a systematic and conscious effort to change the material and social conditions that negatively affect people.” The starting point of the concept of social action is consistent with the objectives of the social service profession. Social services specialists have taken advantage of social action from the past to the present in their anti-pressure and strengthening-oriented professional interventions at micro, mezzo and macro levels. The study emphasizes the importance for social gender, disability and refugees to explain how social services professionals benefit from social action. The contents of the concept of social action in the study are intended to transfer the history of the use of the concept of social action in the social service practice and the areas of use of social action in the social service practice (social gender, disability, refuge).
Social action is defined as "systematic and conscious effort to change material and social conditions that negatively affect people." As can be understood from the definition, the starting point of the concept of social action is in line with the objectives of the social work profession. Social workers have benefited from social action in their professional interventions focused on micro, mezzo and macro level anti-oppression and empowerment from past to present. Study; it is important because it explains how social workers benefit from social action in the fields of gender, disability and refugees. In the study, the content of the concept of social action is aimed at transferring the history of the use of the concept of social action in the application of social work. The aim of the study is to convey the content of the concept of social action, the history of the use of the concept of social action in social work practice and the areas of use of social action in social work practice (gender, disability, refugee).
