Abstract:

This study aims to identify the general trends arising from the postgraduate theses that have been done in recent years in the science of science teaching and to keep light on future studies. For this purpose, the teaching of science in Turkey was taken into the scope of the 334 postgraduate thesis work, which was conducted in the field of science between 2010-2017 and opened to access in the National Thesis Centre of the Higher Education Council (YÖK). These theses are studied in terms of the university, year, type of thesis, the study institute, the gender of the person making the thesis, the title of the consultant, the purpose of the thesis, the subject of the thesis, the work group, the size of the sample, the method of sample selection, the method of study, the design of the research, the data collection tools, reliability and validity studies and data analysis techniques. The research is designed in the scan model and the data is collected through document analysis.
