3E, 5E ve FeTeMM ile Desteklenmiş Öğrenme Ortamının Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Konusuna Etkisi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 3E, 5E ve FeTeMM ile desteklenmiş öğrenme ortamının sürdürülebilir kalkınma konusu üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Van ilinin merkez bir ortaokulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 30 öğrenciden (16 erkek, 14 kız) oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel veriler bir arada kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada açıklayıcı desen yöntem kullanılmıştır. Nicel veriler, “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (SÜKTÖ)” ve “Sürdürülebilir Kalkınmaya Yönelik Başarı Testi (SÜKYÖBAT)” ile toplanmıştır. Nitel veriler ise, “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Mülakat Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen nicel veriler normal dağılım göstermediğinden non-parametrik (parametrik olmayan) testlerden Wilcoxon Signed Ranks testi ile analiz edilirken, nitel veriler ise içerik ve betimsel analize tabi tutularak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, öğrencilerin sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya yönelik tutumlarında ve akademik başarılarında anlamlı bir artış meydana gelmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to examine the impact of 3E, 5E and STEM supported learning environment on sustainable development. The sample of the study consists of 30 students (16 males, 14 females) studying in a central secondary school in Van in the 2018-2019 academic year. Explanatory Design method was used in the study. In the research, quantitative and qualitative data were used together. Quantitative data were collected with the "Attitude Scale towards Sustainable Development (ASSD)" and "Achievement Test for Sustainable Development (ATSD)". Qualitative data, on the other hand, were collected using the "Semi-Structured Interview Form". Since the quantitative data obtained from the research did not show normal distribution, one of the non-parametric (non-parametric) tests was analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test, while the qualitative data were analyzed by content and descriptive analysis. According to the results, there has been a positive increase in students' attitudes towards sustainable development and their academic success.
