Abstract:

Turkmen Turkish is in the South-West arm of the Turkish language family. The western arms of the South-West Turkish are the Gagavuz and Turkish Turkish, while the Azerbaijani and Turkmen Turkish are the east arms. The Turkmen Turks, who remained under the independence of the Soviet Socialist Republics from 1884 to 1991, gained independence in 1991 with the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The influence of Russian Turkology studies on Turkmen Turkish in Turkmenistan, which for a while remained under the independence of the Soviet Union, is discussed. Therefore, it appears that some grammar issues in Turkmen Turkish are addressed differently from the method of study in Turkish. In Turkmen, the intensity of the Turkish word in the form of the grammatical terms is noted. Because the grammatical studies have been discussed for a long time according to the Russian Turkology studies, some of the terms used in Turkmen Turkish have been taken from Russian and have been used for a long time. In this study, about 760 gram terms were identified in Turkmen Turkish. For the identification of these terms, it was used from the dictionaries and grammers prepared on Turkmen Turkish.
