Abstract:

One of the most important elements of the Turkish culture and civilization is the animals. In this context, many of the works in Turkish literature have been discussed about animals. Of the important poets of the Classical Turkish Literature, in the works of Shayhî, many social and cultural subjects related to animal names and animals have been placed, many comparisons related to animals have been made. In this study, the names of the "Dîvân" and the "Harnâme" and the "Hüsrev ü Şîrîn" are identified individually. The names of these animals are indicated by how many times they have passed. There is also an example for each animal name.
