Abstract:

Traditional Turkish crafts, which is a source of the thousands of years of Anadolu's rooted history, is today considered an important cultural heritage element in the tourism scope. The discovery of those who are faced with forgotten among the traditional crafts, which are seen as a reflection of the cultural personality of societies, the preservation of those who continue to exist, the transfer to future generations, through sustainable tourism, can be possible. The aim of working moving from this point of exit, according to the sustainable tourism philosophy, is to identify the current status of traditional craft products and to reveal the traditional crafts that are not included in the "Not-Somut Cultural Heritage of Turkey National Reserve" but are in front of Hatay. The study used the quality research method and the data was obtained as a result of structured conversations with 15 participants. According to the findings of the study, fourteen (14) different traditional crafts that are not included in the inventory list of Hatay have been identified. It is recommended that the found traditional crafts are preserved by incorporating the non-substantial cultural heritage into the National Inventory of Turkey. This study was presented as an extensive declaration at the IWACT Congress, which took place between 16-18 June 2022, and is included in the summary declaration library.
