Abstract:

With the changing competitive conditions, the importance of human capital for businesses is increasing day by day. It is important for the employee to see himself as a part of the business, to act voluntarily for the success of the business, and to continue his activities in an environment where he is treated equally with his colleagues, in order to benefit from their potential at the highest level. In this direction, the aim of the study is to examine the mediating role of organizational cynicism in the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior. Analyzes were carried out using survey data obtained from 197 employees in a business operating in the textile sector in the Unye district of Ordu province. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was found that the perception of organizational justice has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. While it is seen that organizational cynicism, which is considered as a mediating variable, significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior, it is not possible to talk about the mediating effect of organizational cynicism in the relationship between organizational justice perception and organizational citizenship behavior and its sub-dimensions.
