Abstract:

The aim of this research is to study the teaching candidates’ skills to analyze the examples of the purpose concept in the cognitive field according to the renewed Bloom Taksonomy. In this study, which is an imaginary study on the scan model, a simple, unselective sample method has been used. In the example; class education, social information and science knowledge teaching in the main disciplines of science is the third class 130 teachers candidates. In the research, the data was collected using the personal information form developed by the researchers and the "Test of Analysis of Teaching Purposes" (OAT). In data analysis, quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods have been used together. The study found that the average of the points they obtain from the educational process from the OAAT is higher than the type of information, and the average of the points they obtain from the type of information is quite low. It is also found that the average score of the teacher candidates in relation to the type of information significantly differs in favor of the participants who prepare the curriculum. According to the departments in which teachers are studying, the class education teachers’ knowledge type scores are determined to be higher than teachers’ knowledge and social information. The research finds that in practices such as the preparation of a curriculum in order to support the analytical skills of the teacher candidates, it may be recommended to focus not only on cognitive processes but also on the types of knowledge.
