Karma yöntem desenlerinden keşfedici sıralı desenle yürütülen bu çalışmada "Öğretmen Kimliği İnançları" ölçeğinin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel boyutta ölçek boyutları ve bu boyutlarda yer alabilecek maddelerin keşfedilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel verilerin analizi ve uzman görüşleri sonucunda 73 maddeden oluşan taslak form elde edilmiştir. Nicel boyutta taslak formla 529 öğretmenden veriler toplanarak açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) uygulanmış ve 25 maddeden oluşan 5 boyutlu bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Beş boyut öğretmen kimliği ben-konumlarına göre sırasıyla “pedagojik ilişki”, “didaktik ilişki”, “bağlam”, “değerler” ve “öğretmen” şeklinde isimlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen yapı doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) ile doğrulanmıştır. DFA sonucunda elde edilen uyum indekslerinin kabul edilebilir ölçütlerde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçta öğretmenlerin öğretmen kimliği inançlarını belirleyecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek elde edilmiştir.
This study aimed to develop the "Teacher Identity Beliefs" scale with an exploratory sequential design, one of the mixed methods designs. As a result of the analysis of qualitative data and expert opinions, a draft form consisting of 73 items was obtained. In the quantitative dimension, data were collected from 529 teachers with a draft form, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was applied and a 5-dimensional structure consisting of 25 items was obtained. The five dimensions of teacher identity are named as "pedagogical relationship", "didactic relationship", "context", "values" and "teacher" in accordance with the self-positions. The resulting structure was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). It was determined that the fit indices obtained as a result of CFA were within acceptable criteria. As a result, a valid and reliable scale was obtained to determine teachers' teacher identity beliefs.
