Bu araştırmanın amacı, beliren yetişkinlerin mükemmeliyetçilik ve psikolojik kırılganlık düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, mutlu çocukluk yaşantısı ve algılanan anne baba tutumu) açısından incelenmesidir. Bu nicel araştırmada, yordayıcı ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını tesadüfi örnekleme ile seçilmiş 320 (248 kadın ve 72 erkek) beliren yetişkin oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verilerinin toplanması amacıyla Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Frost Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği ve Psikolojik Kırılganlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen verilerin analizi için Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon analizi, basit doğrusal regresyon analizi, bağımsız örneklemler t Testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve LCD post hoc testi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre beliren yetişkinlerin mükemmeliyetçilik düzeyleri ve psikolojik kırılganlık düzeyleri arasında anlamlı pozitif bir ilişki vardır. Ancak katılımcıların, psikolojik kırılganlık ve mükemmeliyetçilik puanları cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmamaktadır. Mutlu çocukluk yaşantısına sahip olmayan beliren yetişkinler, sahip olanlara göre psikolojik açıdan daha kırılgan ve daha mükemmeliyetçidir. Demokratik tutuma sahip hem annelerin hem de babaların çocukları daha az kırılgan ve daha az mükemmeliyetçi bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları ilgili araştırmalar ışığında tartışılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to examine the perfectionism and psychological vulnerability levels of emerging adults in terms of various variables (gender, age, happy childhood life and perceived parental attitude). In this quantitative study, the predictive relational screening model was used. The participants of the study consisted of 320 (248 females and 72 males) emerging adults who were selected by random sampling. “The Personal Information Form”, the “Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale” and the “Psychological Vulnerability Scale” were used to collect the data for the study. Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, simple linear regression analysis, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and LCD post hoc test. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analysis of the data; there is a significant positive relationship between the perfectionism levels and psychological vulnerability levels in emerging adults. However, the psychological vulnerability and perfectionism scores of the participants do not differ statistically according to the gender in significant. Emerging adults who do not have a happy childhood are psychologically more vulnerable and more perfectionist than those who do. Emerging adults who describe their mothers' and fathers' children attitudes as democratic were found to be less psychologically vulnerable and less perfectionist. The findings of the study were discussed in the light of related studies.
