Abstract:

Objective: The study was conducted to evaluate the behavior of healthy lifestyle of breast cancer women. Method: The research is done in a cutting-edge type. The data of the study was collected in the personal information form and the Healthy Lifestyle Scale form. In the assessment of the data; frequency, average, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and corelion analyses were used. The study was taken from the Adana City Education and Research Hospital. Women who participated in the work. Results: The average age of the women who participated in the study was 53.18, the average body mass index was 29.26, the Healthy Lifestyle Behavior Scale total score was 83. It is found that the state of civilisation, education, economic state and work state is a statistically meaningful relationship with the overall scale of Healthy Lifestyle Behavior Scale with the overall scale of statistically meaningful relationship between those with a family history of cancer and the overall scale of Healthy Lifestyle. The study found that women diagnosed with breast cancer have unhealthy lifestyle behaviors and that this situation is associated with socio-economic and socio-cultural factors. Therefore, to protect against breast cancer, it is necessary to raise awareness in society about providing healthy lifestyle behaviors.
