Araştırmanın amacı; Performans sanatının nasıl ortaya çıktığı ve ortaya çıkmasında etkili olan sanatçıların kimler olduğunu araştırmaktır. Aynı zamanda bu sanatın sanatçı, izleyici ve eser arasında ne gibi bir ilişki olduğunu saptamaktır. Performans sanatı ve sanatçıları araştırmanın konusudur. Yves Klein, George Maciunas ve Marina Abromovic gibi sanatçılar araştırmanın kapsam ve sınırlılıklarını oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda adı geçen sanatçılar ve eserleri analiz edilerek karşılştırılmıştır. Aralarındaki ortak noktanın ne olduğuna ilişkin fikirler ileri sürülmüştür.Araştırmanın problemleri şunlardır: Performans sanatı nedir? Performans sanatı nasıl ortaya çıkmıştır? Bu sanatın gelişmesinde etkili olan sanat hareketleri ve sanatçılar kimlerdir? Yves Klein, George Maciunas ve Marina Abromovic’in ileri sürdüğü fikirlerin ortak noktası nelerdir? Performans sanatı ile süreç ve beden arasında nasıl bir ilişki vardır? Bu soruların yanıtlanmasıyla birlikte performans sanatının günümüz sanatına etkileri fark edilecektir. Aynı zamanda bedenin nasıl yapıbozuma uğratıldığı ve eklektik bir yapısının nasıl geliştiği araştırma içerisinde değinilmiştir.
The purpose of the research is to explore who artists are influenced by how performing art appears and is influenced by its appearance. It is also to determine what kind of relationship this art has between the artist, the spectator and the work. Performance art and artists are the subject of research. Artists like Yves Klein, George Maciunas and Marina Abromovic form the scope and limitations of the research. The artists and works that were named in this scope were analyzed. The idea of what the common point is between them has been promoted. The problem of the research is: What is the performance art? How did the art of performance come up? Who are the artists and artists who have influenced the development of this art? What are the common points of the ideas that Yves Klein, George Maciunas and Marina Abromovic have promoted? What is the relationship between performance art and process and body? With the answer to these questions, you will notice the effects of performance art on today's art. It is also referred to in the research on how the body is disrupted and how an eclectic structure develops.
