Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that affect teachers' intention to use and behavior of using interactive smart plates. The research is designed in the framework of the Joint Technology Acceptance and Use Theory 2. The effects on the behavior of using smart plates are external variables studied; performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social impact, facilitating conditions, hedonical motivation, price value, habit. The behavioral intention is variable in research. The research data was collected from 330 teachers working at primary, secondary and high school levels. The data collection has been used in the United Technology Admission and Use Theory-2 scale. The effect of external variables on the internal variable has been tested by the analysis of the structural equality model. The findings show that external variables represent 62 percent of the variation in behavioral intention. Facilitating conditions, habits and behavioral intentions process 43% of the variation in co-use behavior. For behavioral intention, facilitating conditions, performance expectancy, price value, habit are meaningful incentives. For the use of behavior, habits and behavioral intentions are meaningful. The results are quite compatible with the model. Recommendations are presented that teachers need to consider in order to successfully adopt interactive smart tables.
