Tarama Sözlüğü’nde “Salgın ve Bulaşıcı Hastalık” Anlamında Kullanılan Sözcükler Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Dil, konuşurların duygu ve düşüncelerini ifade etmede ve kültür taşıyıcılığı gibi işlevi gerçekleştirmede kullanılan en temel iletişim aracıdır. Kültürün taşıyıcılığı ve koruyuculuğunu üstlenen dil aynı zamanda karşılaşılan ve yaşanılan durumlara göre de şekillenen canlı bir varlıktır. İnsan, doğumdan ölüme kadar geçirmiş olduğu süre dâhilinde yeni bir durum, olay ve kavramlarla karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. Bu nedenle karşılaşılan bu yeni olguları ya kendi dillerindeki sözcüklere başvurarak ya da ihtiyaç dâhilinde yeni sözcükler türeterek açıklık getirmişlerdir. Eski Türkçeden günümüz Türkiye Türkçesine kadar sözcüklerin hangi dönemlerde hangi anlam ve şekillerde kullanıldığının belirlenmesi önemlidir. Sözcüklerin tarihî seyrini, gelişimini ve değişimini ortaya koyan sözlüklerden biri Tarama Sözlüğü’dür. Bu sözlük, sözcükleri tanıklı örnek cümlelerle hangi devirlerde hangi gramer şartları altında kullanıldığı ve orada işaret edilen anlamın hangi bağlamlardan çıkarıldığını anlayabilme imkânı vermiştir. Bu çalışmada Tarama Sözlüğü’nden hareketle salgın ve bulaşıcı hastalıkla ilgili söz varlığı unsurları tespit edilerek incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Tarama Sözlüğü’nde tespit edilen salgın ve bulaşıcı hastalıkla ilgili söz varlığı unsurlarının bazılarının Eski Türkçeden Türkiye Türkçesine kadar kullanılmış olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu unsurların bir kısmı ölçünlü dilde kullanıldığı gibi ölçünde dilde kullanılmayıp sadece Türkiye Türkçesinin ağızlarında yaşadığı da belirlenmiştir. Tarama Sözlüğünden tespit edilen bu söz varlığı unsurları, “Salgın ve Bulaşıcı Hastalık Anlamında Kullanılan Sözcükler” ve “Salgın ve Bulaşıcı Hastalık Adlarının Karşılığı” olmak üzere iki başlık altında tasnif edilerek etimolojik ve morfolojik açıdan incelemesi yapılmıştır.

The language is the most basic means of communication used in expressing the feelings and thoughts of speakers and in performing a function like culture-transporting. The language, which is the carrier and protector of culture, is also a living being formed according to the circumstances that are encountered and experienced. In the time he has spent from birth to death, man is faced with a new situation, events and concepts. Therefore, they have made these new facts clear either by referring to the words in their own languages or by generating new words in need. It is important to determine which terms and forms of the words are used in which periods, from ancient Turkish to present Turkish. One of the dictionaries that reveal the historic course, development and change of words is the Scanning Dictionary. This dictionary has made it possible for the words to understand in which periods the words are used under which grammatical conditions and from which contexts the meaning marked there is derived. In this study, the search dictionary has been attempted to investigate by identifying the elements of the word existence related to epidemic and infectious diseases. The screening dictionary has determined that some of the words related to epidemic and infectious diseases have been used from ancient Turkish to Turkish. Some of these elements are not used in the language as they are used in measurable languages, and it is also determined that only Turkish people live in their mouths. The elements of the word existence identified in the screening dictionary are classified under two titles, "Words used in the meaning of infectious and infectious diseases" and "The counterfeit of the names of infectious and infectious diseases" and are studied from an etymological and morphological point of view.

A language that assumes the carrier and protection of culture is also a living entity that is shaped according to the encountered and experienced situations. People are confronted with a new situation, event and concepts during the time they have passed from birth to death. For this reason, they clarified these new phenomena either by referring to words in their own language or by deriving new words as needed. It is important to determine what meaning and ways words were used in what periods, from Old Turkish to Modern Turkish. One of the dictionaries that reveals the historical course, development and change of words is the Tarama Sözlüğü. This dictionary has given the opportunity to understand in which grammatical conditions the words were used with sample sentences witnessed and from which contexts the meaning indicated there was derived. In this study, the elements of word property related to epidemic and infectious disease have been determined and examined based on the Tarama Sözlüğü. It has been determined that some of the elements of the word property related to the epidemic and infectious disease identified in the Tarama Sözlüğü have been used from old Turkish to Turkey Turkish. Some of these elements are used in standard language, as well as some are not used in standard language, but only live in Turkey Turkish dialect. These word property elements determined from the Tarama Sözlüğü were classified as “Words Used for Epidemic and Infectious Diseases” and “Correspondence of Epidemic and Infectious Disease Names” and were examined etymologically and morphologically.
