Abstract:

The study aimed at identifying the influence of music training on music likes of students of the 11th and 12th classes of Kayseri Fine Arts School. It is aimed at observing the extent to which the students are influenced by their music likes and the training they receive at the School of Fine Arts. The research was conducted at the stage of the creation of the theoretical foundations of the subject. The study was carried out on the 11th and 12th class students of the Kayseri High School of Fine Arts in June. The survey is made up of two sections, personal information and survey questions. For personal information, there are 3, for music likes, 12, a total of 15 survey questions. All of the 11 and 12 music classes participated in the research. 22 students from 11 music classes, 18 students from 12 music classes included a total of 40 students in the study. The students of 11 and 12 classes were chosen as a sample group because they were considered to have sufficient knowledge about music types by studying the curricula. The survey data was evaluated using the SPSS program. The study found that the music education at Kayseri Fine Arts High School in 11th and 12th class music departments had a full impact on the music likes of the students.
