Bu çalışmada astronomiye yönelik tutumları tespit etmek amacıyla geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Kayseri ilinde öğrenim gören 430 ortaokul öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Ölçeğin geliştirilmesinde alan yazından yararlanılarak ve kapsam geçerliği bakımından da uzman görüşü alınarak 43 maddelik bir havuz oluşturulmuştur. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini test etmek amacıyla öncelikle açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA), ulaşılan yapının doğruluğunu tespit etmek amacıyla doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) gerçekleştirilmiştir. AFA için SPSS-20 paket programı, DFA için AMOS programı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizlerinin yorumlanmasında. 05 anlamlılık düzeyi kabul edilmiştir. AFA sonucunda, ölçeğin Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin KMO değeri. 828 olarak, Bartlett’s testi ise anlamlı (p<.05) bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin toplam varyansın % 58,62’sini açıklayan üç faktöre sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. DFA sonucunda elde edilen uyum indeksleri χ2/sd = 3.161; RMSEA = .71; GFI =.87; AGFI = .84; CFI =.91 ve NFI =.875 olarak saptanmıştır. Ölçeğin madde analizi yapılarak alt ve üst gruplara göre ölçekteki maddelerin madde ayırt edicilik indeksleri (r) ve madde güçlük indeksleri (P) hesaplanmıştır. Uygulanan ölçeğin ortalama madde ayırt edicilik indeksi. 57 ve ortalama madde güçlük indeksi .52’dir. Ölçeğin güvenirlik katsayısı (Cronbach alpha değeri) α=.956’dır. Sonuç olarak, AFA, DFA, güvenirlik analizi ve madde analizi sonucunda ulaşılan değerler ölçeğin, astronomiye yönelik tutumları belirlemek için geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmanın bulguları alan yazın ile karşılaştırılarak tartışılmış ve öneriler sunulmuştur.
The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale to identify attitudes towards astronomy. The research was conducted with 430 high school students studying in Kayseri in the 2018-2019 educational year. In the development of the scale, a pool of 43 materials was created using the field text and taking the expert opinion in terms of scale validity. In order to test the structure validity of the measurement, first of all, the opening factor analysis (AFA) and the verifying factor analysis (DFA) were carried out in order to determine the correctness of the achieved structure.
