Abstract:

The Regional Court of Justice, in other words the Court of Appeal, is the highest-level court responsible for examining the appeals against the final decisions of the first-degree law and criminal courts as a rule. The regional judicial courts have been incorporated into the legal system since 2016 with the aim of serving the conclusion of trials in a reasonable time, with the high courts contributing significantly to the reduction of the workload. The Sakarya District Judicial Service Building, which is awarded to Sakarya Province with more than 900 thousand inhabitants, has a base area of 7856 m2 and has a total of 12 trial rooms, including 6 penalties, 6 judicial offices, and 1 large trial room. The underground, the floor and the 2nd floor building serves the legal system with 24 prosecutor's rooms, 96 members' rooms, 25 chair rooms and 31 pen rooms. In this article, the creation of the need program in the process of judicial design and the project principles are presented through the example of the Sakarya District Judicial Service Building.
