Abstract:

The concept of science and "learning element" is the inseparable dual of a system that is internalized, recognized as a whole. How do teachers look at a prestigious, prestigious group of professionals in society? In this study, which aims to determine the perceptions that teachers candidates have about teachers, through metafores, the phenomonological pattern of the quality research patterns has been used. The research work group consists of 86 final-class students who are studying at the Faculty of Education of the University of Amasya in the 2019-2020 educational year and who are volunteer to participate in the study. Teachers candidates have produced 116 current metaphors for teachers. During the collection of data, in the research, in order to determine which metaphors teachers are qualified by teachers candidates, they are "Prof. Dr./ Doç. Dr. Learned by Dr. Members / Teachers. In the study, the "content analysis" technique was used for data analysis. The metaphors obtained from the study were gathered in two categories: "academic" and "non-academic". The academic category of teachers contains 61 valid metaphors, while the non-academic category contains 55 valid metaphors.
