Abstract:

A writer’s diaries do not just track the writer’s personal history. In the framework of a writer’s diaries, at the same time, the writer’s reading and writing enthusiasm, this enthusiasm-related trips are also on the agenda. Again, the daily political, cultural, economic and intellectual history of that era is also learned. This teaching provides valuable information. While history gives a big picture, the diaries bring little but overlooking, much meaningful details in that big picture to our eyes. Hussein Water, in his daily publication as three leaves under the name of the Calendar Broken, informs us of many details of our recent history in the framework of his personal history. Not just that, of course. He is a very careful reader and also a writer who writes on a significant story, experimentation and literary theories, sharing his ideas on reading and writing topics with us. While reading his diaries, he goes on a journey on the details of history, culture, politics, and everyday life, and on the other hand, he follows a writer’s reading and writing adventure, he is a very important reader and he is also familiar with writers. This article, as a result of this follow-up, translates the impressions on the first skin of the diaries, and thus focuses on the mind map of an important writer, and thus on the style of growth of an intellectual. This focus will see an important guide in the construction of similar minds.
