Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the body education and play course included in the primary school teaching program, in terms of the opinions of classmates in the province of Muğla. It is planned to form an important part of a study in which body education and play course will be evaluated in terms of school and teacher variables, this study is a visual study in which the interaction technique from research techniques is used and the scanning model is used in the study. The universe of research is made up of 308 teachers in Muğla, 3459 teachers working in 328 primary schools, including state and 20 private. For the calculation of the sample size, the table included in the study of Başkale (2016) was taken into account, in this direction 87 teachers delivered the study to the sufficient number of samples. As the data collection tools of the research, a semi-configured conversation form developed by the researcher was used. The researcher has provided hours of interview before the management of the schools he will go, visits within the program he creates, and has saved time and material. In the study, to understand whether the sample group differs according to the demographic characteristics, it was first applied independent sample t tests and one-way variance analyses. Correlation analysis of the relationships between the data obtained from the sample group. One of the most important findings from the study is that male teachers process physical education and play lessons more suitable for their curriculum than women teachers. It has also been achieved that male teachers feel more prepared for physical and mental lessons, less defining facility and material deficiencies as lesson restrictors, greater beliefs in lesson achievements, and less room for other lessons during physical training and play lessons. As the age and professional years of the classmates participating in the study increase, more negative attitudes towards body education and play lessons come to us as an important result of the study they also have achieved.
