Şanlıurfa’da genellikle birbirine yakın yaş gruplarının haftada bir olmak üzere düzenli olarak sıra ile yaptıkları toplantılara “sıra gecesi” denmektedir Elazığ-Harput evlerinde düzenlenen kürsü etrafında ısınmak, aynı zamanda da eğlenmek, sohbet etmek için geceleri yapılan toplantılara "kürsübaşı" denilmektedir. Balıkesir/Dursunbey ilçesinde devam ettirilen Barana belli bir zamanda belli bir yerde yapılan geleneksel sohbet toplantılarıdır. Bu üç gelenekte de sohbet edilir, ikramlar yapılır, oyunlar ve müzik icra edilir. Sıra Gecesi, Kürsübaşı ve Barana Sohbetleri “Geleneksel Sohbet Toplantıları” kapsamında UNESCO DÜNYA KÜLTÜR MİRASI Temsili Listesine eklenmiştir. Çalışmada geleneksel Sıra Gecesi, Kürsübaşı gecesi ve Barana sohbet toplantıları kuruluş, işleyiş ve içerik açısından karşılaştırılarak benzer ve farklı yönleri ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak Anadolu’da farklı coğrafik bölgelerde farklı isimlerle sürdürülen ve halk kültüründe önemli bir işleyişi olan toplu çalma ve söyleme geleneklerinden olan sıra gecesi, kürsübaşı ve barana geleneğinin benzer ve farklı yönleri olsa da toplumsal öğretide ve müzik kültürünün nakledilmesinde önemli işlevleri olduğu söylenebilir.
In Sanlıurfa, the meetings they frequently hold in a row, including one in a week, are called "sera night" in the house of Elazığ-Harput to warm around the chair, also to have fun, to talk to the night meetings are called "kürsübaşı". Fishing/Dursunbey is a traditional chat meeting held in a certain place at a certain time. These three traditions are also chatting, rewards are made, games and music are performed. On the occasion of the night, the Kursubaşı and the Barana Talks were added to the UNESCO World Cultural Council Representative List in the framework of "Traditional Talks Meetings". In the study, the traditional Sora Night, Kursübaşı Night and Barana chat meetings compared similar and different aspects in terms of organization, functioning and content. As a result, in the different geographical regions of Anatolia, it can be said that it is from the tradition of collective play and speech, which is a significant function in the popular culture, which has similar and different aspects of the tradition of curcuma and barana, although it has important functions in the social teaching and the transfer of the music culture.
In Şanlıurfa, generally people of the same age groups meet regularly during the week for “sıra gecesi.” At homes in Elazığ-Harput, night meetings called "Kürsübaşı" take place araound a “kürsü” (a kind of small table) tos tay warm the fire, to entertain and chat. Continuing in the Balıkesir / Dursunbey district, Barana is a traditional meeting for chatting held at a specific time and place. In these three traditions there are conversations, refreshments are served, games are played, and music is performed. Sıra Gecesi, Kürsübaşı and Barana meetings were added to the UNESCO WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE representative list within the scope “Traditional Chat Meetings.” In the study, similar and different aspects of traditional Sıra Gecesi, Kürsübaşı gecesi and Barana chat meetings were compared in terms of establishment, operation and content. As a result, it can be said that there are similar and different aspects for the traditions of Sıra Gecesi, Kürsübaşı gecesi and Barana, where all are a part of the traditions of mass playing and singing, which have played an important function in folk culture in the various geographic regions of Anatolia.
