Osmanlı Devleti ve Mısır’ın askeri alanda güç kazanmak maksadıyla genel anlamda Batı, özel anlamda Fransa ile teması, zamanla kültürel etkilenmeyi de beraberinde getirmiş, ilim adamları arasında yaşanan bu hareketlilik, gazete ve derginin sosyal hayatta yerini almasıyla toplumun geneline yayılmıştır. Fransız edebiyatından yapılan çevirilerle gündeme gelen dilin sadeleşmesi ve söz konusu iki toplumun muhafazakâr yapısından kaynaklanan çeviri üslubu, Türk ve Mısır edebiyatında ortak iki sorunsal olarak karşımıza çıkarken, tercüme eserlere benzer telif eserler üretme ve milli edebiyat oluşturma süreci de aynı çizgide seyretmiştir. Edebi tekamülüne 16. yüzyılda İtalyan Rönesans’ını takip ederek başlayan Fransa, 18.yüzyılda dünya düşünce ve siyasi hayatını da etkileyen ihtilal ile değişimi çok önce tamamlamış, böylece Türk ve Mısır edebiyatının modern çizgilere kavuşmasında belirleyici unsur olmuştur. Esasen Türk ve Mısır edebiyatının doğuş ve gelişim sürecinde ortak noktaları tespit etmek için yapılan bu çalışma Fransız edebiyatının da söz konusu bu iki edebiyata benzer süreçler geçirdiğini göstermiştir.
In order to gain power in the military sphere of the Ottoman State and Egypt, the West in general, in particular, the contact with France, the cultural influence with time, this movement between the scientists, the newspaper and magazine took place in social life, has spread to the whole society. The simplification of the language that comes with translations from French literature and the translation style resulting from the conservative structure of the two societies in question, in Turkish and Egyptian literature, as common two issues, the process of producing authors like translation works and the creation of national literature has also seen in the same line. France began its literary literature following the Italian Renaissance in the 16th century, the 18th century. In the century, the change has long been completed with conflicts that have influenced the world’s thought and political life, and so it has become a decisive element in the achievement of modern lines of Turkish and Egyptian literature. Basically, this study to identify the common points in the process of birth and development of Turkish and Egyptian literature has shown that French literature has been through similar processes to the two literature.
The military modernization of the Ottoman Empire and Egypt, have brought the cultural impression because of the relations with France in particular. After the intellectual interaction, the newspapers and journals have became widespread in the social life. The issue of the simplification of language was came on the agenda along with the translations from French literature. When the Ottomans and Egyptians have modernization debates, gave first examples of modern literature under the influence romance and realism. France began its literary development with the Renaissance and completed modern transformation with the French Revolution in 1789, after that, France has been a decisive factor in Turkish and Egyptian literature. This study aims to identify the common elements in the development of Turkish and Egyptian literatures under the influence of the French Literature.
