Bu araştırmanın amacı; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin “çocuk” kavramını nasıl algıladıklarını metaforlar yardımıyla ortaya çıkarmaya çalışmaktır. Bu araştırmanın, çalışma grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılının 2. Döneminde İstanbul ili Avcılar ve Beylikdüzü ilçelerindeki tüm bağımsız anaokulu öğretmenleri, ilkokul ve ortaokulların anasınıfında görev yapan 104 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada verilerin elde edilmesi, incelenmesi ve yorumlanmasında nitel araştırma modellerinden bir olan olgu bilim (fenomoloji) modelinden faydalanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı ile elden edilen bilgiler içerik analizi ile tahlil edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin “çocuk” kavramına ilişkin 13 kategori oluşturulmuştur. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin “çocuk” kavramına ilişkin ürettikleri metaforlar incelendiğinde, en çok metafor bulunan kategorinin “şekil alabilen” olduğu görülmüştür.
The purpose of this research is to try to reveal how pre-school teachers perceive the concept of "child" with the help of metaphors. This study, the working group of 2018-2019 educational academic year 2. During the period, all independent childhood teachers in the districts of Hunting and Beylikdüzü are formed by 104 teachers who work in the maternity of primary and secondary schools. In this study, the fact science (fenomology) model, which is one of the quality research models in the acquisition, study and interpretation of data, has been used. The information obtained by the data collection tool is evaluated by content analysis. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, 13 categories were created regarding the concept of "children" of pre-school teachers. When the metaphors that pre-school teachers produce about the concept of "child" were studied, the most metaphorized category was found to be "formable".
The aim of this research is revealing how preschool teachers perceiving the concept of the “child” under favour of metaphors. The working team of this research contains 104 teachers who worked in preschools, primary schools and secondary schools in Avcılar and Beylikdüzü, Istanbul during the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. Phenomenology model used in the process of collection, examination and interpretation of data in the research. The informations obtained by collecting data analyzed by their contents. As a result of the analysis of collected data, 13 categories identified for the perception of concept of the child from the point of view of preschool teachers. When the metaphors produced by preschool teachers related to the concept of student are examined, it is seen that the most common category is “formable”.
