MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULLARINDA GÖREV YAPAN ÖĞRETİM ELEMANLARININ ÖĞRETMEN ÖZYETERLİK İNANÇLARININ İNCELENMESİ: KIRKLARELİ ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract:

Bu araştırma, Kırklareli Üniversitesi meslek yüksekokullarında görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının, öğretmen özyeterlik inançlarını cinsiyet, hizmet yılı ve görev yaptıkları meslek yüksekokulu değişkenleri açısından incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde, Kırklareli Üniversitesi meslek yüksekokullarında görev yapan 127 öğretim elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Çolak, Yorulmaz & Altınkurt (2017) tarafından hazırlanan ve Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .93 olan, “Öğretmen Özyeterlik İnancı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS 22 paket programı ile analiz edilmiş, bağımsız örneklem t-testi, tek faktörlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ile Bonferroni testi ve etki büyüklüğü analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar, Kırklareli Üniversitesi meslek yüksekokullarında görev yapan öğretim elemanlarının öğretmen özyeterlik inançlarının yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Öğretim elemanlarının öğretmen özyeterlik inançları, görev yaptıkları meslek yüksekokulu değişkenine göre incelendiğinde, istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuş, cinsiyet ve hizmet yılı değişkenleri açısından incelendiğinde ise anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır.

Abstract:

This research aims to study the teachers who work at the University of Kırklareli's vocational college, teachers' self-sufficiency beliefs in terms of gender, year of service and the vocational college variants they perform. In the study, a general screening model was used. The examples of the study, in the spring period of the 2017-2018 educational year, are made up of 127 faculty members who work at the University of Kırklareli's professional colleges. In the study, the data collection tool was prepared by Cholak, Untold & Altınkurt (2017) and the Cronbach alpha reliability ratio .93 was used, the "Teacher Self-Government Faith Scale". The data was analyzed with the SPSS 22 package program, independent sampling t-test, one-factor variance analysis (ANOVA) with Bonferroni test and effect size analysis. The findings show that teachers who work at the University of Kırklareli professions have high beliefs in teaching self-sufficiency. The teachers' beliefs of the teacher's self-sufficiency, when they were studied according to the variable of the high school profession they performed, statistically significant differences were found, and when they were studied in terms of the variables of gender and service year, there was no significant differences.

Abstract:

This research aims to investigate teacher self-efficacy belief of university instructors working at vocational schools of Kirklareli University according to gender, service year, vocational school variables. General survey method was used in the research. The sampling of the research is 127 instructors working at vocational schools of Kirklareli University in the spring semester of 2017-18 academic year. In the research, “Teacher Self-efficacy Scale” by Çolak, Yorulmaz & Altınkurt (2017) was used whose Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient is .93. SPSS 22 software was used to analyze the data and to perform independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, Bonferroni test, size effect analysis. Results show that, teacher self-efficacy belief of university instructors working at vocational schools of Kirklareli University is high. A statistically meaningful difference was found when university instructors’ teacher self-efficacy belief was analyzed in relation to vocational school variable whereas no meaningful difference was found for gender and service year variables.
