Türk resim sanatının sanat tarihinde bilinenin aksine son derece özel bir kültürel mevcudiyeti vardır. Özellikle stratejik biçimde Batılılaşmayı hedefe alarak gerçekleşen dönüşümün sanatsal özneyi çağdaşlaştırması tamamen gelenek kavramı ile gerçekleşir. Gelenek ile modernizmin yer yer çatışması ve kaynaşmasının dışında öznenin veya bireysel üslubun resim sanatında belirmesi toplumsal durumlarla iç içe bir olgu barındırır. Bu çalışma, Türk resim sanatında en özgün evreye geliş basamaklarının temel sanatsal sancılarını farklı bir düzlemden ele almakta ve gelenekle modernin Türk resminin esas öznesini oluşturmasına bağlı dinamiklerine odaklanmakta ve sorgulamaktadır. Esaslı bireysel estetiğe ve özneye dayalı yenilikçi resimsel üslupların özgünlüğünün niteliğini görebilmek için erken dönem Türk resmini stratejik biçimde irdelemek gerekmektedir.
The Turkish painting art, unlike what is known in the art history, has a very special cultural presence. In particular, the modernization of the artistic essence of the transformation which takes place in a strategic way aiming at Westernization takes place fully by the concept of tradition. Except for tradition and modernism's place conflict and cohesion, the manifestation of the essence or individual style in the painting art contains an inner fact with social situations. This study deals with the basic artistic pain of the stages that reach the most original stage in Turkish painting from a different level and focuses on and question the dynamics associated with the tradition of creating the basic essence of modern Turkish painting. In order to see the nature of the originality of the innovative paintings based on the basic individual aesthetics and essence, it is necessary to strategically look at the early Turkish image.
