So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Even though the methods of sociology and literature, which focus on social life, are different, the problems they attempt to solve are common. This association provides sociology and literature to make a partnership on the analyses of any social fact and reach to multi-dimensional solutions together. That is why, in order to investigate the issue of “women” by a literal and sociological imagination, R. H. Karay’s story, “Yatık Emine”, was chosen as the main subject of the study. Literature is a double-valued tool that is benefited during the discursive construction social system. Within the fiction created by the literature, identities of the characters, dialogues transferred, the hierarchical structures of dominant social gender can be re-produced with negative values in terms of “woman”. The purpose of this study, by relying on the general information that gender adjustment is generated within a wide-ranged social relationships networks, is to illustrate the representations of the gender-oriented statuses and roles created for “woman” in the literature and to show the potential of this representations in terms of effecting the patriarchal system and/or being effected by this system. In direction of this purpose, the analysed story, “Yatık Emine”, is a short (!) story of functioning hidden motives of patriarchal system, which is supported by political, religious, and cultural power, from the words to the sentences, from the sentences to consciousness, and from the consciousness to the behaviour.
